When the guys at the restaurant ask Zhang Ziyi's character whether she knows Li Mu Bai and she replies, "He is my defeated foe!", I knew right away which line would stick with me long after I'd forgotten the entire rest of the movie. I wish I had some defeated foes.

I'd really like to see an indicator on each of your posts that tells me which took more time and effort: the post's text or the post's visual design. This would seem to be a case of the latter, but it certainly paid off.

I actually have thought about somehow trying to distinguish between the perfunctory entries and the more worthwhile ones on the index page. Or at least specifying on my announcement posts: "Calendar page updated, but only click the link if you're really bored."
